THE IDEA BEHIND

 THE YELLOW BOWL 

Loosing my mother at early stages of my life made me accustomed to eating out since young. As I grew up and started working at an MNC, I met Twinkle (my wife) and we often went to eat out. There was a stage when we were so obsessed with street food. But, me and Twinkle always shared the quite opposite food tastes. She was a Chinese food enthusiast whereas I was an in-and-out Punjabi food eater. One problem that we used to encounter was the disproportion in price and quality among the options available to us for dining. Sometimes, the quality was non-existent and in other cases prices were on par with the given quality.

A thought struck the back of my mind. I had always wanted to start a business of my own for long and what else could be better than trying it out in my field of interest and expertise? How about setting up a restaurant that caters all segments and age groups as well as serves high quality and pocket friendly food? I discussed the same with Twinkle and in no time, we were working together with my father for this idea to come into life. And thus, The Yellow Bowl was born- a restaurant which serves to you the best quality Chinese food with a fusion of tangy Punjabi taste at reasonable rates. Within the first few months of our existence in Shahdara, we became a local hit amongst the residents and attracted people from all across Delhi-NCR to our branch.

JOURNEY

People were stunned to find how light the budget was on their pockets compared to the quality they were receiving at TYB (a question we are asked till date!). As time passed and we accumulated a large customer base from Delhi NCR, we began to receive franchisee enquirees as well and we decided that it was finally time to expand this venture of ours. Years rolled past and TYB Geeta Colony, TYB Yamuna Vihar and TYB Shakarpur were set up. We saw our dream coming into fruition. TYB was now on the culinary map of Delhi as one of most popular and buzzing place to dine around. And back to the present, as of now, we have TYB has 10 Plus branches functioning across entire Delhi-NCR.

ISHANT Khurana

(Founder)

Ishant is an epitome of hard work and tireless efforts to win. He is the talented founder of The Yellow Bowls (TYB) who has put in his whole and soul to run this business.
Earlier, he worked as a UI and UX designer in the corporate world. He was a senior professional who was well-respected. Right then, he developed an innate passion to start a food chain. He took a leap of faith. For six consecutive years, he continued to accomplish his business goals as well as work his job. He is a living example of ‘If you believe you can do it, you surely can accomplish it’

Twinkle Khurana

(Co-founder)

Twinkle has exercised the true potential of being a businesswoman. She’s so good at everything that she does, especially managing this business. She has nurtured it ever since the beginning. From timely staffing checks to assuring the freshness of the food, Twinkle has left no stone unturned. She is fond of cooking and relishing delicacies to a point that she falls in love with them.
Prior to her humble beginnings with The Yellow Bowls, she proved her mettle as a Content Lead for a duration of 8 years in an IT company. She has worked day in and day out to bring this business to where it is today. Hats off to her energy!

Abhinash JHA

(OPERATIONAL HEAD)

Abinash is too good at sales and marketing. If you want to sell something, do it like Abinash does. He is also equipped with the right marketing skills which have proven useful for TYB’s speedy growth and success. He knows his forte and does beyond extraordinary at it. He knows the retail sector in and out. Abinash is keen on leaving his indelible mark in the food sector. He is passionate about delicacies from Indian, Asian as well as Western cuisines. is a firm believer of doing his absolute best.

NEERAJ THAKRAN

(BUSINESS HEAD)

An MBA graduate from a reputable institution, Neeraj has excelled in Retail and Marketing. He started off his career in sales and marketing early in his life. He learned a lot along the way which has eventually benefited TYB to the core. He is the go-to person when there’s anything that involves strategizing and customer service. He has attained success while working in the marketing sector in India. And now, TYB is blessed with his presence. He can connect food with business like it’s dal and chawal that always goes together. He’s a food enthusiast who likes exploring different cuisines across the globe.

Since the very beginning and till date, We, at The Yellow Bowl emphasize to serve top-quality and sublime food to our customers at amazingly rational rates. You would be astonished to find that dining cost incurred at our place at such quality would be drastically lower than the other options available to you. We note that our customers have a large pool of options in food to choose from and the food prepared as such is done with utmost hygiene and safety.We wish that every customer that steps in to our store leaves with a happy appetite and smile. Our Vision

We, at The Yellow Bowl, envisage to spread the extent of our chain to entire Delhi-NCR within the near future. A Yellow Bowl outlet in every local and popular street or market in Delhi is a day we live to see and working towards constantly through our values and mission. In event of a suitable opportunity, we will not shy away from expanding our reach to the nearby cities as well. We started from scratch and have come this far yet and aspire to go a lot ahead.
